\n Charles Abbey ICSW Vice President addressed the social impact of the global economic crisis at the Parliamentary Hearing held in the UN in November. His paper focussed on how poor people are losing out and ICSW’s views on the solutions.<\/span>

\n Executive Director Denys Correll spoke this week in Helsinki on “Globalization: Benefit or aggravation? The perspective of ICSW”. Mr. Correll argued that while economic policy is created at global, regional and national level, implementation is largely at the national level.<\/span>
